Process Cycle Test


Example 1: Test depth level 1 and 2 from Process Cycle Test

This example shows the flow and the results when only path combinations (derived from the showed process flow) are entered into COVER.

The input lines without a comma ("Decision point A:", "Decision point B:" and " Decision point C:") are considered as comments.

Example 2: Correction path numbers in Process Cycle Test

This example shows that beside the path numbers also the accompanying text (derived from the showed process flow) can be entered into COVER.

If the numbering of the paths contains mistakes, COVER will correct them.

Example 3: Forbidden path combinations in Process Cycle Test

This example shows that it is possible to forbid certain path combinations (in this case: "4,6" and "4,7" are forbidden).

The state_machine-tag does split the "states" and "transitions" in a Result and Action column in the test cases.

The spreadsheet-tag results in an extra attachment: an interface file for HPQC (default). Keep the directory structure of the zip-file intact during unzipping, and open the resulting htm-files from within MsExcel to get the right format (other templates are available).
